Daniel 11-12; Luke 6
Scripture-My special verse today:
Luke 6:12 “he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God.”
Luke 6:40 “A disciple is not above his teacher; but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.”
Observation: Spirituality is not obtained over night. Jesus chose His disciples after an all night prayer vigil. Duplicating your spirituality can only be done if you yourself have something to give back. If you are not alive in Christ, then you cannot duplicate yourself. This portrait of spiritual leadership is key to the next generation.
Application: It is essential that I stay connected through prayer, reading God’s word, fellowship with believers, and involved in mission outreach. Decisions for Christ come from within my spiritual tank. It needs to stay full not half or running low.
Prayer: Help me to keep my spiritual tank full as I long to make decisions that reflect you.
