Scripture-My special verse today: Psalms 128:1-4
1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD,
who walk in his ways.
Observation: Happiness comes from walking and talking with the Lord. God allows you to even like your job because you enjoy the fruit of your labor. (work) Not only your job but your home life is enhanced by your wife. You are blessed to have all those children. Cody, Wyatt, Trey, and Sheyanne are such a blessing. My greatest years are now with my precious family. But, the Bible states that these things are a reward for those who fear him. Why would someone not fear him when such a blessing is given for those who do?
Application: If someone looked at my life would they know I fear God based on my actions? My checkbook or my calendar? Fear is a motivating force but what God promises in family life are unfathomable to me. How could I be blessed to a higher degree with my wife of 15 years, and four children being able to home school.
Prayer: May I always fear the Lord as one who keep His promises!
