Scripture for today:
Ezekiel 42-44 ; Revelation 22
Scripture-My special verse today:
Revelations 22:15 “Outside the city are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
Observation:
The city of God is an awesome place to be. Not every is invited into the city for there are those outside that wanted in the city. The description of those outside are described as dogs. Dogs refers to those that are rebels that are not worthy to enter. The qualifications of unworthiness include sourcerers, immoral, murderers, idol worshipers, and those who live a lie.
Application:
Heaven is not a concept but a place that rewards faithfulness. Working in the church is about restoring people to God that would be the ones left out of the city and wanted in. This text is a call to help as many outside the city to get in. They must feel the love and conviction of the Lord to change from unworthiness to being worthy.
Prayer: Help to have a burden for those outside the city gates.

Scripture-My special verse today:
Revelations 12:17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Observation: The dragon is Michael the fallen angel who is angry. His anger is toward all who follow the Laws and Degrees of God. That is scary because I am one of them. I have never liked it when people are angry at me but being a follower of Jesus this one is unavoidable.
Application: The old song “Why is everybody picking on Me?” Satan is not not picking on me but dispices me because I seek to restore people back to him. He hates to see repentant hearts and hearts that are on fire for Jesus. I believe that Satan is always looking for another opportune time.
Prayer: Forgive for not always being on guard for someone named Michael that seeks to devour me because of my allegiance to Christ.
